International Stingless Bee Conference and Workshop (ISBCW2025)

4–5 October 2025 | Permai Hotel, Kuala Terengganu, Malaysia

The Malaysian stingless bee industry exhibits promising advancements, and recent research necessitates ongoing dissemination to ensure its proper promotion and development. Consequently, following the successful execution of the International Stingless Bee Conference and Workshop (ISBCW) in 2017 and 2019, the International Institute of Plantation Management (IIPM) will convene ISBCW 2025 for its third iteration. Under the theme “Stingless Bees Industry: Towards Economic, Social, and Environmental Sustainability,” ISBCW 2025 will be jointly organized by the IIPM and Universiti Malaysia Terengganu (UMT).

Building upon the established success of prior conferences, ISBCW 2025 seeks to assemble researchers, academics, beekeepers, policymakers, and industry stakeholders to facilitate the exchange of contemporary findings, innovations, and best practices pertaining to stingless bees. This conference will serve as a forum for the dissemination of knowledge concerning stingless bee biology, conservation, pollination services, sustainable meliponiculture practices, and the socioeconomic impact of stingless bee products
